If you are currently a student, please provide the details requested below. If you are about to become a student, and are waiting for confirmation of your place, please complete the details of the institution and course you are expecting to attend. If you are a non-student applicant, we may require further information from you before we can proceed with your application.
Have you been accepted onto your course?
You are about to enter into a legally-binding tenancy agreement for a fixed period of time. If you have not yet been accepted onto a course of study, you can enter into this contract but please note that Unipol are under no obligation to release you from your tenancy if you subsequently fail to secure a place of study.
Full-time students are exempt from paying council tax. To be classed as a full-time student in Council Tax law, you must be enrolled with a ‘prescribed educational establishment’ and your course must last at least one full academic year and require you to undertake at least 21 hours of study per week for at least 24 weeks in that academic year. If you do not qualify for exemption, you will be expected to pay the Council Tax for the property.

If a Third Party (i.e. parent, carer, local authority, guarantor) is paying your rent directly to Unipol by Direct Debit or on-line payment, then Unipol may disclose details of all your account to that person. However, Unipol will not discuss or disclose any information regarding your Tenancy to any Third Party claiming to represent you, unless you give us written permission to do so. If you choose not to select a Third Party on this form, you can do so at a later date by providing a signed letter of consent. If no letter is received, Unipol will not discuss any information regarding you to any Third Party.
